Rochester Truck is the premier heavy truck repair facility in Seacoast NH.
They stock huge inventories of trucks and truck parts. Using their capital for a solar electric system, while a money saving endeavor would tie up capital that they need for inventory. Using a Power Purchase Agreement, Barrington Power got them the benefits of a solar electric system without any up front costs. Rochester Trucks saves money on their electric bill and has a fixed monthly payment that is adjusted annually based on actual load and usage.
This is a 48kw system using 250 watt Astronergy panels and a single 208 volt Fronius CL48 central inverter. Half of this system is mounted on a southwest facing pitched shingle roof and half is ballasted on a flat rubber roof facing south.
The Fronius Central Inverter provides constant feedback through an internet portal that is accessible from any computer, iPad or iPhone. It’s a simple matter to track performance on a daily or even hourly basis not to mention know when it’s sunny in Rochester.
Production on this system has been spectacular since the snow has gone. February was tough but as the diagram above shows, April was really productive. Projections were for 5530 kwh and we’ve surpassed 6000
