Corrective Maintenance and Additional Services
Corrective Maintenance Services are generally triggered by a Monitoring Alert reporting a drop in expected system production. PowerWatch can monitor production from the site multiple times a day, comparing actual to predicted production. Certain alerts can be corrected remotely. Other alerts are triaged to determine if the issue has a safety aspect requiring an emergency response, or (far more typically) permit the on-site service call to be scheduled days or weeks in advance.
Frequency: Two site visits annually, additional visits as required
Common Corrective Maintenance tasks include:
- Inverter troubleshooting and warranty management
- String and Connector repairs
- Panel Replacements
- Panel manufacturer defect identification and tracking
- Monitoring troubleshooting and repair
- Fuse replacements
- Breaker tightening and replacements
- Ground fault identification
- System Wide IV Curve testing (every 3-5 years)
- Aerial or customized IR thermal imaging (optional)
- Power Quality Analysis
- Vegetation management, as required
- Module washing, as required, minimum once per year
Pricing for Service contracts will reflect the extent to which customers take advantage of either or both Preventative and/or Corrective Maintenance services.
