Barrington Power partnered with Encore Renewable Energy of Burlington VT and St. Michael’s College on a creative financing structure to provide the College with a robust return on investment on this net metered distributed generation solar array. In addition to the production of clean energy for St. Michael’s College and strong financial return profile, the array was developed on a filled quarry — an otherwise unusable piece of land on the campus.
